Webbers Falls runner to carry torch for cross country

After she was a part of a full-team for the Webbers Falls Lady Warriors cross country team last fall, Katie Frazier is going to be the lone torch bearer this season as she will be the only runner for the Lady Warriors in 2025.

Two of her teammates last year, Cheyanne Herrier and Kailey Mannon, are now running collegiately — Herrier for the Murray State College Lady Aggies and Mannon for the Connors State College Cowgirls.

Frazier did not qualify for last fall’s Class A State Meet, but Webbers Falls coach Meghan Johnson has high hopes for her lone cross country runner this season, which will begin with the Gore Invitational at the Steve Owens Sports Complex beginning at 9:45 a.m. Thursday.
