Vian Wolverines get final preseason tune-up last Friday

The Vian Wolverines were slated to get their final preseason tune-up as they and the Panama Razorbacks visited the host Muldrow Bulldogs for a three-way scrimmage on Friday night at Marty Rogers Field. The scrimmage was to have taken place last Thursday night but was rained out.

Due to today’s edition being printed on Friday, the details about the scrimmage could not be published.

Look for the details about last Friday night’s scrimmage as well as the game story about the 2025 season opener with the Eufaula Ironheads, which will be at 7 p.m. this Friday at St. John Stadium, in next week’s edition. Next Friday night’s season opener is expected to showcase the new turf that has been laid down over the last few weeks.
