Glenn Arthur Hibdon, 77, was born on May 23, 1948, in Jonesboro, Ark., to George and Glenda Hibdon. He passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, in Tulsa.
He graduated from Jonesboro High School and earned two bachelor degrees from ASU.
He married Karen Brant in 1978.
He worked for the Southwest Times Record in Fort Smith, and had a 30-year career with the Tulsa World newspaper, covering live sports events where he interviewed many big name sport stars and covered the Tulsa Oilers hockey team. He won many journalism awards both at state and national levels.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Hibdon; two dogs, Happy and Prissy; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Barbara Barnett.
