Celebration of Life service for Lorene Moffett, 81, was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, at the Way of the Cross Free Will Baptist Church, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
Burial of cremains will be held at a later date at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
Mrs. Moffett was born on July 26, 1944, to Felix and Lola Mae Cartwright. She passed away on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025.
She married Kenneth Moffett on Nov. 27, 1961, in Stigler.
Survivors are her children, Gary Moffett and wife Sharon of Sallisaw and Regina Lofton and husband Steve of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Faye Crumper of Cullum, Ala.; brother, Donald Perryman of Webbers Falls; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five sisters; and one brother.
