Memorial services for Rita Neal, 76, of Sallisaw, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Mrs. Neal was born on Feb. 13, 1949, in Garden City, Kan., to Robert F. Harkreader and Margie Lorene (Edwards) Harkreader. She passed away on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, in Muskogee.
She was a bank teller and KATS bus driver.
She married Ronnie Neal on Feb. 1, 1969, in Reno, Nev.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Nichole and Barry Farmer of Sallisaw and Glenna and Mike Miller of Nixa, Mo.; one sister, Joy Whittaker of Merced, Calif.; six grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Evelyn Harkreader; and one brother, Glenn Harkreader.
