The annual Ritter family reunion will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, at the Blackgum Community Building, located at 449458 OK-100. This marks at least 33 years of reunions for the families of George Washington Ritter and Elizabeth Landreth, who were married on May 27, 1853.
Bring a side dish or dessert. Meat, bread, drinks, plates, cups and ice will be provided through generous donations from last year. To help raise money for future family reunions, we will resurrect our auctions. Please bring anything you want to contribute to either a silent auction or surprise gift auction. All surprise gift items should be wrapped or bagged. All proceeds will go to fund the next family reunion.
Although many who attended the original reunions are no longer with us, we don’t want to forget our ties with each other. Join us for lunch and then head over to Fin & Feather to enjoy the arts and crafts fair.
