Gore runner makes top 20 at Braggs meet

BRAGGS — Gore’s Amelia White made the top 20 at the 2025 Army National Guard Invitational, which took place Sept. 5 at Camp Gruber. White was 17th (15:52).

As for other Lady Pirates, Rayleigh Moore was 42nd (19:09), Avery Hoog was 58th (21:43) and Gracie Bruce was 64th (22:47).

The Webbers Falls Lady Warrior runner Katie Frazier was 62nd (22:32).

In the high school boys’ division, Gore’s Clayton White was 94th (28:35).

The Central Lady Tigers were ninth in the junior high girls’ division with 233 points, finishing behind champion Owasso (52 points), Maryetta (75), Coweta (104), Tahlequah (112), Cleveland (119), Woodall (144), Briggs (178) and Chouteau-Mazie (222).

Gore’s Taylor Kinion was 10th (14:54) to earn a medal.

As for other junior high girls runners, Central’s Scotti Wilson was 44th (16:28), Central’s Sailor Bauer was 57th (17:08), Central’s Bryar Goodson was 60th (17:13), Central’s Graye Riggs was 76th (17:43), Central’s Olivia Blalock was 89th (18:24), Webbers Falls Lady Warrior runner Kaiyah Scruggs was 96th (18:31), Gore’s Kimberly Quick was 101st (19:04), Gore’s Annika Pruitt was 107th (19:23), Webbers Falls Lady Warrior Haven Chapman was 124th (21:25) and Chapman’s teammate, Madalyn Belknap, was 130th (21:42).

In the junior high boys’ division, the Gore Pirates were 11th (256 points).

One local JH boys runner medaled as Central’s Caden Bair was ninth (12:48).

As for other locals, Gore’s Bryson Franco was 28th (13:47), Gore’s Blake Frye was 59th (14:46), Gore’s Jace Boyd was 68th (15:06), Central’s Daxton Moldrup was 75th (15:20), Gore’s Quinn Montgomery was 80th (15:28), Gore’s Isaac McGrew was 82nd (15:29), Webbers Falls’ Skylar Powless was 90th (15:49), Gore’s Cale Cox was 120th (16:52), Central’s Koleman Edwards was 122nd (16:57), Webbers Falls’ Kacen Shamblin was 170th (19:51), Webbers Falls’ D.J. McCathron was 174th (20:05), Gore’s Kyler Carter was 179th (20:36) and Gore’s Luke Williams was 189th (22:33).
