Memorial services for Melissa Diane Chapman, 66, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, at Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roland.
Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Chapman was born on March 28, 1959, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Fred Daniel and Joann Janet (Wilson) Daniel. She died on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, in Fort Smith.
She was an educator and retired from Central Public Schools.
Survivors include two sons, Scotty Chapman of Muldrow and Daryl and Ashley Legg of Sallisaw; three sisters, Thelma and Terry Younger and Catrina Gibbs all of Roland and Kristi Daniel of Fort Smith; four grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Charles Dale Gantt.
