Webbers Falls Lady Warriors fall to Keota

The Webbers Falls Lady Warriors suffered a 15-0, three-inning loss to Riverside Conference foe Keota on Sept. 9 at Eual Carter Sports Complex.

Keota pitcher Jaycee Byrd threw a three-inning no-hitter with seven strikeouts.

The Lady Lions jumped out to a 7-0 lead after an inning, and a five-run third inning put the game into runrule status.

Rhilee Jones took the loss for the Lady Warriors (1-9).

On Friday, the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA) announced district assignments for softball.

The Lady Warriors were sent to Cameron with Gore for the Class A District Tournament, which will be Sept. 25-27.
