Funeral services for Katie Combs, 69, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

She was born on Nov. 23, 1955, in Tulsa to Elmer Wray Combs and Zella Ann (Jreager) Groene. She died on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, in Vian.

She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one sister, Waynette Edwards of Sallisaw; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Leonard “Buster” Wray Combs.
