Vian High School Band earns spot in finals, will perform Saturday

The Vian High School Band placed third in their class to earn a spot in the finals at the Eufaula Ironhead Invitational on Saturday. In the finals round they performed a second time, competing against all the finalists for 3A and 4A. The Sound of V-Town placed 12th overall, which is a great accomplishment because getting to the finals is not an easy task, and has not happened in many years. The Vian Band competes again this Saturday, October 4, in Charleston, Ark., at the Dale Bumpers Marching Invitational.
