Eula Lee Clayton, 83, of Edmond, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2025. She was born on Dec. 1, 1941, in Sallisaw, to Robert Orval Shoemaker and Josephine Foster Brooks Shoemaker.
She graduated from Sallisaw High School with the class of 1960. Following graduation, she served in the U.S. Army as a member of the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) from 1960-64.
She was married to Ronald James Clayton, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2021.
Survivors are her children, Ronda LeBoeuf of Edmond and Bert Clayton of North Charleston, S.C.; sisters, Lavona Shoemaker and Robbie Farrell, both of Sallisaw; six grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
