Funeral services for Timothy Andrew Jones, 75, were held at 9 a.m. Thursday Oct. 23, 2025, at the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw. Burial followed at 11 a.m. at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark.
Mr. Jones was born on June 15, 1950, in Delano, Calif., to Charles “Chock” Jackson Jones and Mildred Fay Jones. He died on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025.
He was a 1968 graduate of Delano High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1968-71. He was a mechanic and enjoyed cars, fishing and riding motorcycles.
Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Linda Kay Jones; daughter, Melisa Dawn and Clinton Johnson; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia F. Jones; and brother, James “Jimmy” Micheal Jones.
