Funeral services for William Edgar Tran Hogan, 37, of Vian, were held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Burial was at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Hogan was born on Jan. 15, 1988, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Felipe Ortez and Brenda Sue Ann (Hogan). He died on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, in Vian.

He was a joyful, compassionate person. Survivors include one sister, Marjorie Ortega of Vian; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Elton Ortega.
