The Gore Pirates will be an experienced team this season, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Gans in a Riverside Conference match-up.
The Pirates were 17-8 last season and made it as far as the Class A Regional Tournament.
The Pirates will return eight players from a season ago, with four of those seniors — guards Tate Brooksher and Cain Cooper and forwards Gabe Hefley and Logan Markou.
Cooper was named to “VYPE” Magazine’s top 100 high school boys basketball players to watch in the state of Oklahoma this season.
Other players back for Gore boys coach T.W. Estes are junior guards Keeton Rowe and Cruz Ward and sophomore guards Eli Munson and Benson Hunt.
A new face out for the Pirates this season junior guard Kyler Mc-Gee.
Three freshmen, forward Jastin Simmons and guards Bladyn Smith and Cruze Duke, round out the roster.
