HEAVENER — The Vian Wrestling Club won the team championship at the 2025 Runestone Classic, which took place last Saturday at the Heavener High School Gym.
Six members won at least one individual championship, with two of them claiming two championships each.
Kainen Hunter won the 49-pound weight class titles in both the age 6-and-younger and the age 8-and-younger division, while Daxton Stewart claimed gold at 92-96 pounds in the age 12-and-younger division and at 92 pounds in the age 15-and-younger division.
Joely Hunt (105-115 pounds in the girls age 12-and-younger division), Rocky Ford (105120 pounds, age 12-andyounger), Jestin Rosson (80 pounds, age 12-andyounger) and Parker Mabe (70-73 pounds, age 12-and-younger) all won their respective weight class.
Josie Constant (155165 pounds, girls age 15-and-younger division), Brently Smith (140 pounds, age 15-and-younger), Marco Gonzalez (heavyweight, novice age 12-and-younger), Bronc Sumpter (105120 pounds, age 12-andyounger), Creede Prier (88 pounds, age 12-and-younger), Madalynn Turman (95105 pounds, girls age 10-and-younger division) and Samuel Gilbreath (45 pounds, age 4-and-younger division) all were runnersup.
Sumpter (112 pounds, age 15-andyounger division), Gage Hines (105-120 pounds, age 12-and-younger) and Corey Clifton (49 pounds, age 6-andyounger) were third.
