Gore Pirates Youth Wrestling members do well at Wolverine Classic

Gore Pirates Youth Wrestling saw many members place at Saturday’s Wolverine Classic, which took place at Vian High School’s B.J. Traw Gymnasium.

Two members placed twice as Jettson Constant won the 83-pound title in the novice age 8-and-younger division, while he was third at 83-90 pounds in the age 8-and-younger division.

Stetson Andrews won the 70-73 pound championship in the novice age 8-and-younger division, while he placed fourth at 73 pounds in the novice age 10-andyounger division.

Hastin Chitty was first and Dawson York was runner-up at 43 pounds in the age 6-and-younger division.

Stryker Sandy was the champion at 155 pounds in the age 15-andyounger division.

Isabella Mannon (girls age 12-andyounger division, 70 pounds), Wyatt Chitty (15-and-younger, 92 pounds) and Beau Moore (15-and-younger, 126 pounds) were second.

Coming in third place were Jay York (age 6-and-younger division, 37-39 pounds), Stryker Randolph (novice age 12-and-younger, 110115 pounds) and Jentrie Constant (girls age 6-and-younger, 55-57 pounds).

Everly York (girls age 10-and-younger division) and Laiken Andrews (novice age 12-and-younger division, 88 pounds) were fourth.
