Gardenia Veon Lindsey Plummer

Sept. 24, 1944 – Dec. 4, 2025

Graveside memorial services for Gardenia Veon (Lindsey) Plummer, 81, of Marble City, were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mrs. Plummer was born Sept. 24, 1944, in Sallisaw, to Jackie (Teague) Lindsey and Benjamin C. Lindsey. She passed away on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, in Marble City.

She worked most of her career doing data processing, but after retirement, she went back to work making biscuits at Hardee’s and working at a factory as a forklift operator.

She loved to work in her yard, read, paint, watch movies and spend time with her granddaughters.

Survivors are one daughter, Pamela Plummer; one son, Luke Plummer; two granddaughters; one brother, Boyd Wayne Lindsey; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Plummer; parents; one sister, Wanda Carol Madison; and two brothers, Claude Lindsey and Charles “Ben” Lindsey.
