Funeral services for Billy Jack Honeycutt Sr., 68, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Dwight Mission Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Honeycutt was born on July 21, 1957, in Tahlequah to Rufus Honeycutt and Dolores (Schoonover) Honeycutt. He died on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He was a horse trainer assistant. He married Sylvia St. John on June 29, 1996, in Sallisaw.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Honeycutt of the home; two daughters, Charlee Honeycutt and Tyler Vann of Sallisaw and Claudetta Buttery and Blake of Vian; one son, Billy Honeycutt Jr. of Sallisaw; two grandchildren; three sisters, Leta Davison of Sallisaw, Kay Osborn of Broken Bow and Doris Morris of Short; two brothers, Danny Honeycutt of Roland and Todd Brooks of Sallisaw; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Donnie Honeycutt.
Pallbearers were Todd Brooks, Ricky Morris, Daryl Seamore, Ricky Meeks, Todd McKinney and Rex Dale Brooks.
