The Vian Police Department was honored to be visited recently by members of the Four Kings Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club Tenkiller Chapter.
“We have had a long, amazing relationship with retired police officer and president of the Tenkiller chapter, Jody Powell,” Vian Police Chief Mark Harkins said. “These amazing individuals presented us with three life saving medic packs for first responder field use.”
Harkins said this kind of support and partnership is the key to successful community policing and effective life saving.
A list of members who visited the department included: Jody Powell – President of the Tenkiller Chapter; Armando Martinez – Vice President; Tustin Harp – Sergeant at Arms; Jared Montgomery – Secretary; Blake Frost – Treasurer; and Brandon Smith – Member.
Club members said they are proud to support local law enforcement and stand behind those who stand the line and appreciate the professionalism and dedication shown by the officers who serve this community every day.
