Services for Thomas Locust Jr., 68, of Gore, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at Cedar Springs Indian Baptist Church in Gore, with Pastor Al Ruckman officiating with Deacon Jeremy Locust.
Burial was at Webbers Cemetery under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services.
Mr. Locust was born on Sept. 18, 1957, in Claremore, to Tom and Liz Locust. He died on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, in Gore.
He was a 1976 graduate of Gore High School, a truck driver for FDF and retired after 30 years with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carolina Mae Locust; two sons, Thomas Locust III and Jeanie and Chad Locust and fiancée Chrissie Sugar; one daughter, April Abercrombie and Chester III; one brother, Arthur Locust and Tena; several grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Linda Barnett and Eloise Locust; and two brothers, Leslie Locust and Michael Locust.
Pallbearers were Chester Abercrombie IV, Thomas Abercrombie, Chester Abercrombie III, Jonathan Jones Jr., Dale Glass, Jeremy Locust, Robert Watts and Ralph Watts.
