Jimmy D. Thomas, 64, of Vian, died on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, in Vian. He was born on Feb. 2, 1961, in Poteau to J.C. Thomas and Ivy (Weece) Thomas.
No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
He participated in team roping during his childhood, was involved in FFA and attended OSU-Okmulgee.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Paula Thomas of the home; daughter, Krista Boston of Tahlequah; two sons, Donnie Huggins of Vian and Jimmy and Brittany Thomas of Pocola; siblings, RC Thomas and Carolyn and Junior Williams, all of Keota, and Deborah and Billy Coker of Arkoma; six grandchildren; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, JR Thomas, Terry Thomas and Baby Boy Thomas; and five sisters, Sharon Hays, Anna Lyndsey, Billie Reynolds, Faye Stephens and Joyce Begger.
