Geneva E. Remer, 95, of the Carlile community, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026. She was born on Aug. 11, 1930, in Salen, Ark., to Thomas and Ethel Mae Ingle.
Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service.
She was an excellent cook, working more than 25 years for the Carlile and Gore School systems. She enjoyed square-dancing, scary movies, traveling, and the color red.
Survivors are two sons, Dewey Remer and Johnny Remer, both of Gore; brother, Ronnie Ingle of Sulphur Springs, Texas; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Remer; parents; four sisters, Madeline Remer of Vian, Virgie “Dutch” Chandler of Muskogee, Carolyn “Sue” Carlile of Tahlequah and Ruth Ingle of Vallejo, Calif.; and three brothers, Paul Ingle of Granbury, Texas, Mike Ingle of Sacramento, Calif., and Thomas Ingle of Odessa, Texas.
