Gordon Thomas Choat

Sept. 16, 1989 – Jan. 28, 2026

Funeral services for Gordon Thomas Choat, 36, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Choat was born on Sept. 16, 1989, in Washington, Iowa, to Billy Ray Choat and Kimberly Kristeeyn (Adamson) Choat. He died on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, in Fayetteville, Ark.

He will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his parents, of Sallisaw; two brothers, Bobby Choat of Phoenix and Matthew Choat of Sallisaw; and other family members and friends.

Pallbearers were Michael Horbeck, Matthew Choat, Chris Randolph, Alex Smith and Daniel Harvell.
