Former Vian Lady Wolverines, EOSC softball team drops two games in Texas

DENISON, Texas — Former Vian Lady Wolverines softball player Maisie Wells and the Eastern Oklahoma State College Lady Mountaineers dropped two games in the Texoma Health Foundation Winter Blast on Friday, losing 5-3 to Temple College and 16-0 to host Grayson College.

The third game on Friday against Blinn College was canceled.

In the loss to Temple College, Wells was 2-for-4, while going 1-for-2 in the loss to Grayson College.

Wells and the Lady Mountaineers (1-3) were slated to entertain Coffeyville Community College for a Tuesday doubleheader before playing four games in Branson, Mo. — at 9:30 a.m. Friday against Southwestern Community College and at 11:30 a.m. Friday against East Central College as well as a 1:15 p.m. Saturday contest against Missouri State University- West Plains and a 3:15 p.m. Saturday game against State Fair Community College.
