Funeral services for Gladys (Lee) Craighead, 89, of Vian, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at Blackgum Baptist Church in Vian.
Burial was at Box Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Craighead was born on Feb. 5, 1937, in Barber to William P. Lee and Lucille (Eden) Lee. She died on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, in Fort Smith, Ark.
She was a housekeeper and a member of Blackgum First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Chuck and Shannon Craighead of Vian; two sisters, Bonnie Silk of Oklahoma City and Eva Lee of Fort Gibson; one brother, William Lee of Ponca City; eight grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Rhonda York and Sherry Pendergrass; one son, Mike Randolph; three sisters, Hiawatha Cloud, Christine Waters and Bernice Ellis; and three brothers, Albert Lee, J.C. Lee and Donel Lee.
Pallbearers were Darrell McElhaney, Michael Randolph, Dalton Pendergrass, McKennon McElhaney, Cale Gillespie and Noah Craighead.
