Vian pitcher sees action in weekend series for Connors State

MIAMI, Okla. — Former Vian Wolverine Diego Ramos saw time on the mound during the Connors State College Cowboys weekend road series against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

In last Thursday’s opener at Homa Thomas Field, Ramos pitcher 4.1 innings and had nine strikeouts but got a no-decision.

The Cowboys (183) were slated to return to action with a 1 p.m. Tuesday home game against Redlands Community College before a weekend series against Rose State College, with Game 1 at 2 p.m. in Warner followed by a 1 p.m. road doubleheader in Midwest City, before a 2 p.m. home game next Tuesday against Crowder, Mo.
