EL RENO — Gore Pirates powerlifter Seth Current finished third at 168 pounds in the freshman division at the Class A, Division II State Meet, which took place last Thursday through Saturday. He had a total lift of 920 pounds lifted.
As for other Pirates, Gage Young was seventh at 220 pounds in the seventh-grade division with a total lift of 650 pounds.
In the eighth-grade division, Wyatt Chitty tied for ninth at 105 pounds with a total of 425 pounds lifted.
Devon Mannon tied for 12th at 168 pounds with a total lift of 1,025 pounds in the high school division.
Marcus Scott tied for 12th at 220 pounds in the high school division as he had a total lift of 1,120 pounds.
At heavyweight in the high school division, T.J. Abercrombie was 14th with a total lift of 1,225 pounds.
Beau Moore was sixth at 123 pounds in the eighth-grade division as he had a total lift of 600 pounds even.
In the seventh-grade division, Aiden Robertson tied for 19th at 114 pounds in the seventhgrade division as he had a total lift of 415 pounds.
In the seventh-grade division, Jacob Hites was 19th (605 pounds total lifted) and Riley Gilley was 21st (550).
