Gore Public Schools’ Algebra 1 students worked on solving systems of equations using substitution, and the classroom was full of great math thinking. Students used whiteboards to practice explaining their steps and reasoning to one another, helping each other understand the process. It was awesome hearing the great conversations and teamwork happening around the room, as students talked through their solutions and supported each other’s learning.
