Central track teams compete at Fort Gibson Invitational

FORT GIBSON — The Central High School track teams competed at the Fort Gibson Invitational last Friday to get their season underway.

The Lady Tigers finished ninth in the team standings with 29 points.

Alyvia Warner was runner-up in the 300-meter hurdles (52.22 seconds), while Sara Williams was third in the 400-meter dash (1:05.35) to be the highest finishers for the Lady Tigers.

As for other Lady Tigers, Sadie Huff was fifth (2:48.46), Scarlett Harrison was 14th (3:01.03) and Rileigh Ford was 24th (3:25.51) in the 800-meter run, Alyvia Warner was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles (18.48 seconds), Williams was 10th (28.88) and Kaitlin Clark was 16th (29.85) in the 200-meter dash, Clark was 10th (13.92) and Jhaselyn Gonzalez was 22nd (14.99) in the 100-meter dash, Harrison was 14th (7:01.5), Xhayla Mosby was 17th (7:10.29) and Polina Lukasa was 20th (8:49.93) in the 1,600-meter run and Huff was 15th in the 400-meter dash (1:13.61).

As for Lady Tiger relays, Huff, Gonzalez, Cambree Bair and Williams were third in the 1,600-meter relay (4:39.51), Gonzalez, Huff, Keeley Poindexter and Clark were eighth in the 400-meter relay (57.26 seconds) and Warner, Clark, Cambree Bair and Williams were eighth in the 800-meter relay (1:58.36).

The Tigers finished 13th in the team standings with 12 points.

Gavin Randolph was the champion in the 400-meter dash (53.32 seconds), while Braxton Prewett was fifth in the discus (118-2) to be the highest finishers for the Tigers.

As for other Tigers, Randolph was 11th (11.74 seconds) and Riley Walters was 35th (14.01) in the 100-meter dash, Mason Louthan was 24th (27.53 seconds) and Walters was 32nd (31.23) in the 200-meter dash and Louthan was 30th (1:09.7) and Riley Walters was 33rd (1:15.95) in the 400-meter dash.
