A Celebration of Life service for Dorothy Dean Thomas, 100, was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Emanuel Pentecostal Church in Braggs.
Mrs. Thomas was born on March 15, 1926, in Fayetteville, Ark. to John Harrison and Lula Farmer. She passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026.
She married Melvin Thomas on Aug. 31, 1942, in Reno, Nev. He preceded her in death.
Her life was a testament to hard work and perseverance. She loved Jesus deeply. Survivors include her sons, Dale Thomas and John Thomas; daughter, Tera Asamen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five greatgreat- granddaughters; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Virginia Thomas; grandson, Jimmy Thomas; and daughters-in-law, Darlene and Mary Thomas.
