It was a rough week of slow-pitch softball for the Webbers Falls Lady Warriors last week as they lost all five games played.
The Lady Warriors opened the week with a 21-1 three-inning road loss to the McCurtain Lady Bulldogs.
In their own festival, the Lady Warriors went 0-4 as they lost 23-3 in three innings to Muskogee and 6-0 to Central last Thursday before losing 15-0 in three innings to Talihina and 18-1 in three innings to Muskogee last Friday.
In the loss to McCurtain, the Lady Bulldogs scored seven runs in the first inning and 14 runs in the second inning to put the game into runrule status.
In defeat, Sofia Bonilla singled for the only hit for the Lady Warriors (1-8) off McCurtain starting pitcher Avrie Ford. Lextyn Chappell (0-4) suffered the loss.
In the first loss to Muskogee in their own festival, the Lady Warriors fell behind 8-0 in the first inning, which became a 17-2 secondinning deficit. A six-run third inning for the Lady Roughers put the game into run-rule status.
In defeat, Katie Frazier singled and scored once, Rhilee Jones singled with a run batted in and a run scored and Shkyra Scruggs singled for Webbers Falls. Chappell took the loss.
In the loss to Central in their own festival, Central pitcher Gretchen Reed tossed a fiveinning no-hitter, with Central giving her all the run support needed with a pair of three-run innings in the first and fourth innings.
Chappell suffered the loss.
In the loss to Talihina in their own festival, the Lady Warriors were three-hit by Talihina pitcher Becca Stowell.
The Lady Golden Tigers scored six runs in the first inning and nine runs in the second inning to put the game into run-rule status.
In defeat, Bonilla, Jones and Allie Patterson each singled for Webbers Falls.
Katie Frazier (0-1) took the loss, only lasting two-thirds of the opening inning. Jones went the rest of the way.
In the second loss to Muskogee in their own festival, the Lady Warriors fell behind 13-0 in the first inning and never recovered.
In defeat, Bonilla and Kendra Kimble each singled, while Ricki Frazier singled and scored the lone run for the Lady Warriors. Jones (01) suffered the loss.
