Vian Nursing & Rehab resident Joe “Joe W” Stikeleather, 85, will be competing in a virtual talent show at 6:30 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, May 20.
I appreciate all the essential workers out there keeping our country running. Believe it or not the press is also considered essential; even though we may not be at the office during the week and our office remains closed to the public, some of us are still reporting the news, we’re just doing it from home or in different ways.
The Sequoyah County Courthouse reopened last monday to the public. Those who have business with county offices on the first floor of the building are asked to wear a mask and obey all the other rules which can be seen on signs located at the entrance, ray Watts, Chairman of the Board of Sequoyah County Commissioners, said. Sandra Clopton of Vian, last week, was awarded Vian Nursing & Rehab's Nurse of the Year. Clopton is a registered nurse at the facility.
