The Gore Band of Pirates recently received a $5,000 donation from Matt and Whitney Holland. The donation was a show of support and appreciation of Gore Schools and especially the band program that holds a special place in Mrs. Holland’s heart. The Hollands want to thank Gore Schools for allowing them the opportunity to meet the band members and personally present them with the donation. Attending the presentation were Sydnie Couch, drum major, band members, band director Jordan Smith, and the Hollands.
