Sheriff’s Office recognized on Law Enforcement Day

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day was last Monday, and Sequoyah County Commissioners expressed their appreciation for the men and women who keep us safe by recognizing the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office, along with other local law enforcement agencies, for their service and protection of county residents. Recognized from the Sheriff’s Office were (from the left) Sheriff Larry Lane Jr.; deputies Shane Petree, Shelton Fair and Jeremy Day; Detention Officer Autumn Reed; jail administrator Kevin Choate; and Undersheriff Charles House.
