Lonnie Lucas

Nov. 12, 1946 – April 23, 2023

Vian – Memorial services for Lonnie Lucas, 76, of Vian, were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Cremation was under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Lucas was born on Nov. 12, 1946, in Oklahoma City to Vern Lucas and Esther (Oberlander) Lucas. He died on Sunday, April 23, 2023, in Vian.

He was a meter tech for ONEOK, Inc. and of the Presbyterian faith.

He married Hazel M. Anderson on Nov. 8, 1969, in Garden City, Kan.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Lucas of the home; three daughters, Annette Lucas of Pueblo, Colo., and Janet and Nick Robinson and Michelle and Jay Thompson, all of Holcomb, Kan.; four sons, Ricky and Michelle Lucas of Colorado Springs, Colo., Robbie Lucas of Kirksville, Mo., and Randy and Jill Lucas and Ryan Lucas and fiancé Kayla Alva, all of Garden City; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
