Sequoyah County District 2 Commissioner Beau Burlison and road foreman Kenny Weaver fixed a long-term problem for the county election board by turning a parking lot and access road that featured numerous holes, ruts and depressions into a smooth and even surface. Election board secretary Cindy Osborn says she had petitioned for years to get the parking lot fixed, but it wasn’t until Burlison and Weaver intervened that the issues were resolved.
