Gore Public School third grader students enjoyed Shiloh Blake, a guest speaker from the Port of Catoosa, who spoke to them about MIKARNS. The students study about this in their social studies class. After learning about the navigation system that morning, they were welcomed by the Corps of Engineers at Webbers Falls Lock and Dam 16 for a tour that afternoon. The school wishes to thank the Port of Catoosa and Webbers Falls Lock and Dam 16 for teaching the students more about their navigation system near Gore, that helps supply items to other parts of the world.
