Bear crossing?

New signs have been placed on Interstate-40 alerting motorists to a possible “bear crossing” between the Vian exit (297 mile marker) and Gore. While there have been no recent reports of bears crossing the highway or causing accidents, they are becoming a common sight in western Sequoyah County.
