Funeral services for Edmund Dwain “Eddie” Stites, 64, of Sallisaw, were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Services.
Mr. Stites was born on Feb. 16, 1960, in Sallisaw, to Edmund and Gwen Stites. He passed away on Friday, July 19 in Pocola.
He was a nursing home administrator and a talented musician/singer/songwriter. He loved to cook, and play the horses and slot machines.
Survivors are brother, Greg Stites and Dana of Sallisaw; sister, Malora Stites of Sallisaw; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Larry and Melvin Stites.
Pallbearers were Will Orendorff, Kirk Stites, Chad Stites, Carl Ortiz, John Weese and Rick Agent.
Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Weese, Kelly Mitchell, and Chris Hensley.
