VFD pancake breakfast set for August 31

The Blackgum Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, at the Blackgum Fire Department Community building.

The breakfast menu will consist of pancakes, bacon, sausage, orange juice, coffee and milk.

Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children under the age of 12.

Everyone is invited, come enjoy some food and maybe even catch up with friends and neighbors.

The community building is located 2 and 1/3 miles west of Mc-Quicks on Hwy. 100.
