The Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC) issued a press release on Saturday after an inmate reportedly walked away from a facility in Ponca City.
Lester Hampton, 62, of Vian, who is serving a 10year sentence for second degree burglary out of Sequoyah County, was reportedly last seen around 11:51 a.m. at the Bridgeway Halfway House.
Hampton is described as 5”8, 220 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. He has an “OKIE” tattoo on his abdomen, and an “in memory of mom and dad” tattoo on his back.
Anyone with any information on Hampton or knows about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or their local authorities immediately. Authorities said do not approach Hampton.
