Funeral services for Fred Allenbaugh, 76, of Gore, were held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at the Gore Event Center, with burial following at Gore Cemetery.
Mr. Allenbaugh was born on Sept. 8, 1948, in Muskogee, to Irene Lucille (Forbus) and Carl Edward Allenbaugh. He passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025.
He married Jeanie (Hamilton) Allenbaugh on May 25, 1968, in Council Hill.
He was a 1966 graduate of Gore High School, furthering his education at Connors State College, playing both basketball and baseball. He graduated from Northeastern State University in 1970 and served in the National Guard. He taught and coached basketball at Vian in 1970 and 1971. He later pursued a successful career in real estate and owned several businesses. He was a Deacon at Primitive Baptist Church in Gore.
Survivors are his wife, Jeanie; two daughters, Caralee Gutierrez and Daniel of Muskogee and Christi Crawford and Ryan of Bixby; four grandchildren; one sister, Linda Nation and husband Jim of Poteau; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Chris Allenbaugh.
Pallbearers were Gabe Crawford, Thane Crawford, Caleb Crawford, Derek Nation, Trey Nation, Adam Allenbaugh, Seth Arnold and Blake Starnes.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Smith and Billy White.
