A private family service for Jerry Dewayne Spears, 76, of Gore, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Box Cemetery in Vian.
Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Spears was born on June 22, 1948, in Vian to Clifford Harvie “Radio” Spears and Virgie (Mullen) Spears. He died on Friday, March 7, 2025, in Muskogee.
He worked in construction. Survivors include five sons, Jerry Spears of San Antonio, Texas, Michael and Amy Tehee of Sallisaw, Johnny and Kim Tehee of Vian, Kelly and Tina Hickelheim of Gore, and Kalem and Erin Summerlin of Gore; a daughter, Megan and Joshua Chitty of Gore; two brothers, Troy Spears of Gore and Clifford “Goat” Spears of Oklahoma City; one sister, Elaine Webster of California; 30 grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sons, Billy Wayne and Scott Spears; three brothers, Frank, Herman and Melvin Spears; and two sisters, Ruby Henry and Connie Spears.
