Funeral services for Ruth Casinger Seay Gregory, 91, of Vian, were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Round Mountain Church in Gore. Burial followed at Round Mountain Cemetery in Gore.
Mrs. Gregory was born on Dec. 30, 1933, in Notchietown, to Cecil and Bertha (Cooper) Casinger. She passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in Gore.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and playing dominos and cards. She was an excellent cook.
Survivors are her husband, Johnnie “J.P.” Gregory; son, David Seay; daughter, Linda (Alvin) Smith; four grandchildren; step-children, Marie, Ann, Sharon, Perry and Joe; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Roxie; eight brothers and sisters, Gordy, Zola, Bert “Junior,” Charles, Donald, Mike, Margaret and Betty; and first husband, George Seay.
Pallbearers were Butch Terrell, Rick Spears, Preston Remer, Michael Moss, Wayne Gregory and Eddie Casinger.
