POTEAU — Several Gore Pirates Youth Wrestling members placed in Saturday’s Viking Open, which took place at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse on the campus of Carl Albert State College.
Stetson Andrews was a double champion as he took the gold at both 75–83 pounds in the novice age 8-and-younger division and at 73-76 pounds in the novice age 10-and-younger division.
Aiden Robertson was another double placer as he won the title at 88-100 pounds in the novice age 12-andyounger division, while he was third at 100-105 pounds in the novice age 12-and-younger division.
Three other members won championships — Hastin Chitty (age 6-and-younger division, 40-43 pounds), Jettson Constant (age 8-andyounger, 75-83 pounds) and Garrett Sandy (novice age 10-and-younger, 110 pounds).
Coming in runners- up were Laiken Andrews (novice age 12-and-younger division, 88-100 pounds) and Beau Moore (age 15-and-younger, 126 pounds).
Luke Robertson (novice age 10-and-younger division, 80-85 pounds), Isabella Mannon (girls age 10-and-younger, 70-74 pounds) and Wyatt Chitty (age 15-andyounger, 80-92 pounds) placed third.
Finishing fourth were Dagni Rodriguez (novice age 8-and-younger division, 49 pounds), Royer Hernandez (novice age 8-and-younger, 55 pounds) and Daxton Robertson (novice age 10-and-younger, 64 pounds).
