Two teenagers were injured on Dec. 30 in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Hwy. 64 and County Road S 85th Street East in Muskogee County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers reported that a vehicle driven by a 17-yearold male from Fort Worth, Texas, was turning east onto Hwy. 64 from the county road when it failed to yield to oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle driven by a 17-year-old female from Webbers Falls.
Both drivers sustained injuries in the collision. The male driver had two passengers in his vehicle; however, no passengers were injured. All occupants in both vehicles were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, authorities said.
The collision was investigated by Trooper Cox of Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troop C. The incident was handled through the OHP Northeast Region Communications Center.
