Renovations at County Courthouse

Renovation work at the Sequoyah County Courthouse will provide a one-way access inside and out of the building once completed, Kelly Miller, Sequoyah County Assessor, said. Miller, who made the request, said the single entrance inside the courthouse will provide not only more security but protection to her staff and those in the commissioners office during the COVID-19 pandemic. The construction work, by Lance Calhoun and IPS Construction of Sallisaw, is expected to be completed as early as next week, county officials said.
