2Corinthians 11:3 “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” We had a saying growing up. My buddy and I used it quite a lot as we did things together. When we attacked a project we hadn’t done before, Butch would say, “How hard can it be? It not rocket science!” We attacked a 341 Desoto Hemi to put into my 1946 Dodge pickup. Rebuilding the engine was easier than finding a place on the dash board to mount the push buttons for the transmission. Sadly or thankfully (I’m not sure which) I joined the United States Navy before the truck was licensed. Probably saved my life for the thing had way too much power for a 1946 Dodge to handle. First time I pulled out of the driveway and punched it a little, I went around in a circle because the old steering system was not the wonderful rack and pinion system we have today. I couldn’t get it cranked around in time to save it. Boy, did my buddy mock me for that!
