Funeral Service for Rhonda Lou (Jones) Hughart, 64, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Blackgum Harvestime Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on September 27, 1958 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Francis Louise (Davis) Craghead and Junior Riley Jones and passed away on September 9, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a battle with cancer. She retired from Walmart and of the Pentecostal faith. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors are mother, Louise Craghead of Blackgum, OK; two brothers, Mickey Jones of Blackgum, OK and Mark Jones of Sallisaw, OK; one sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Jim Fox of Gore, OK; step-siblings, Richard Cato, Crystal Bean, Shonda Briggs, Karen Foster and Dee Bennett; five nieces, one nephew and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by one nephew, Justin Jones; her father and step-mother, Junior and Eulene Jones; step-father, Leo Craghead; grandparents, Cecil and Nanny Davis and Marvin and Modean Fritts; and two sisters-in-law, Angie Jones and Linda Jones.
Active Pallbearers will be Jerry Cato, Richard Cato, Colton Spears, Richard Armstrong, Mike Davis and Rickey Davis.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake Buttery and Charles Davis.
Viewing was at noon – 8 p.m. Tuesday and will be 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family greeted 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday.
